The famed Cavalli – The Lounge opened it doors in Mumbai last evening and as expected, it was quite the celebrity-studded affair.

With the city of Mumbai being known for it’s vibrant night life and 24X7 party vibe, it’s only natural that Cavalli – The Lounge would also want to make it’s presence felt in the city of sin.

Last night, a select few celebrities and friends of the promoters were invited for the exclusive opening of this crystal-bedecked venue at Hiranandani in Powai.

The moment you enter the club (which is located on the second floor of a mall), you can’t help but take in the grandeur created by the crystal chandeliers and crystal chains which dot the entire venue. This is a staple at all the Cavalli Clubs across the world.

The oval-shaped bar (above) sits right in the middle of the club and kind-of resembles a boat. But unfortunately, they did not have on offer the premium Roberto Cavalli Vodka. That would have been a nice touch!

However, if it’s the signature animal prints you’re looking out for, you’ll find them on the sofas, cushions and even the trays on which your drinks / food is served.

We also could not help noticing that the Cavalli logo was conspicuous by it’s absence. We wonder why such an important feature is missing!

Anyway, the deejay thankfully played good music….
