Helmed by Chef Vikram Arora, Tamak in Mumbai serves us wholseome and tasty North Indian delcacies.

While the Mumbai foodie’s landscape is dotted with restaurants which serve up Chinese, Italian, Japanese, fusion and Continental cuisine, there are just a handful of venues which specialise in typical North Indian food.
Tamak, in a by-lane of the suburb of Santacruz, is thankfully one such restaurant which strives to offer up the best of classical North Indian food.

The menu has a confluence of traditional dishes from Kashmir, Delhi, Punjab and Rajastan, and are inspired by season’s freshest produce, giving the guests an unparalleled dining experience!
Some of their signature dishes are mushroom chives cheese and sea salt kulcha, Palak and paan patta chaat, shahi paneer, Tandoori jheenga lahsuni (Tandoori prawns with garlic flavouring) and Ambala chicken curry.
Their range of kababs are particularly succulent and bursting with flavours, as well.

And if it’s desserts which you crave, you must indulge your sweet tooth with their version of the kala channa ka halwa, jamun kulfi, phalsa sharbat and jalebis with rabdi.
The venue is small so you might want to book a table in advance.
