Hitchki, Mumbai’s newest watering hole at BKC, will will focus on regional cuisine and will introduce elements of nostalgia to the dining experience.
Singer and actress Suchitra Pillai recently hosted the opening of Hitchki, a quirky new restaurant and bar at BKC in Mumbai.
The restaurant specialises in regional and traditional flavors from across India and offers classic favorites with modern twists. Each dish has a quirky, modern touch in a manner that suits the palate and lifestyle of the current day, by way of contemporary preparation and plating.
Dishes like Vasai-Ker Bhujing, Charlie Chapli Kebab, Crispy Chicken Khurana, Kamal Ka Phool, PP’s Risotto and Laksa Prawn Dum Biryani promise to be your favourites on the menu.
Hitchki also serves never-seen-before cocktails, each with its own unique spin; from the Boondi Mojito to the Swadeeka, I Hate Tears to Bhat Saab ki Chai, Hitchki offers a wide range of drinks at pocket friendly prices.
Dessert Cocktails like Balam Pichkari (which are rasgulla shots) and BabuMoshai (black rum and Mishti Doi) are drinks that set the bar high.
Suchitra invited many of her close celebrity friends on the opening night and among them were Manasi Scott, Amy Billimoria, Shruti Sancheti, Sandhya Shetty and Vidya Malvade.
