Hailing from Parbani, a small town in Maharashtra, Darasing Khurana will be representing India at the Mr. International 2018 contest, next year.
Darasing Khurana hopes and dreams to be the next Indian to make our country proud on the global platform when he represents India at the Mr. International contest in 2018.
This strapping young man made his acting debut in 2005 as a child actor in a marathi film called ‘Pratiksha Eka Kshanachi’. At the age of Fourteen, he had won the title of Mr. Parbani 2006 – a local pageant in his hometown. He then came to Mumbai for further studies and at an age of Twenty-One, he started his own company called Emotion Wedding Films.
Later, he decided to make a mark in the fashion industry and became a fashion consultant to many top Bollywood celebrities and worked with fashion stylist Akshay Tyagi.
It was while he was still working as fashion consultant that Darasing pursued his dreams of modeling. He not only auditioned for Mr. India but also won the title of Mr. India International 2017.
None of this was easy, however!
“Having been born into a conservative joint family, it wasn’t easy for me since my family was of the opinion that I join the family business post education,” reveals Khurana.
But with grit and determination, he fought to achieve his dreams by actively participating in all his college events, be it ramp shows or theatre. He also started taking up various internships to explore, learn and figure out his actual calling.
All of that seems to have paid off and we wish Darasing all the best for his future in the spotlight.
