We are huge fans of Jeremy Scott‘s kitsch sense of fashion and we applauded his latest Resort 2017 collection for Moschino which was previewed in Los Angeles, yesterday.
Jeremy Scott never shies away from in-your-face fashion and for Moschino‘s resort 2017 collection, he’s taken travelled back in time to the hippie era of the Sixties to bring back into the present, a fun (and very pop) collection of men’s wear which also boast of Indian elements.
For instance, the blue sports jacket and vibrant tie-n-dye pants worn by Spanish supermodel River Viiperi . Take particular notice of the way MOSCHINO is written on the jacket and even down the leg, in English, but a Hindi-style script.
And then, there is the wide range of ensembles (sports jackets, swimming trunks, trousers and formal jackets) festooned with mirror-work, reminiscent of what you’ll see the tribes of Rajasthan and Kutch sporting with gay abandon.
Pay particular notice to the mirror-work on footwear as well! So apt for an Indian bridegroom!
