The much loved Telly Calendar for 2016 was officially launched in Mumbai last night with Indian television’s brightest stars in attendance.
The calendar, however, features only women. Among the twelve dazzling beauties who pose perfectly in beautiful locations in Taiwan are Sukirti Kandpal, Vrushika Mehta, Sara Khan and Anita Hassanandani. But there were many of the male telly stars in the audience who cheered them on from the audience as the lovely ladies basked in the spotlight.
Take a look at what the men wore…
Andy Kumar looked very stylish in black overalls which he, “Picked up somewhere in SOHO in London” which he teamed with a white shirt, a slim black tie and snow-white sneakers.
We give his look a 7/10 rating.
Even though he’s a good-looking guy, Angad failed to impress us in the wardrobe department. The tried and tested white shirt / blue jeans combo with boots is a big yawn. How about a red shirt next time, Angad?
We give his look a 4/10 rating.
Anuj Sachdeva gets points for matching his tan belt and shoes to his tan-coloured trousers. We wish his beard was groomed a bit.
He gets a 6/10 rating.
We don’t fancy the way the jacket is pulling away at Ashish Sharma’s waist. The look, howver, could have done with a pop of colour in the form of a pocket square and / or colourful footwear.
He gets a 5/10 rating.
Bharat, like Angad, has opted for a very done-to-death look. Why won’t these handsome boys experiment a bit? They need to look to Ranveer Singh, Rahul Khanna and Imran Khan for inspiration.
We rate his look a 5/10.
Indraneil Sengupta keeps it colourful, casual and chic. But a clean shave would have made the effect far more pleasing to the eye.
He gets a 6/10 rating.
Jay Soni (who was the compere at the event) dressed – and looked like a college boy. We like those nerdy glasses.
7/10 for sure!
Karan Tacker is ridiculously good-looking and would look fantastic even if he was dressed in a greasy brown paper bag. His look is calculatedly simple but does him full justice.
9/10 Mr. Tacker!
Rohit Reddy looks like he put absolutely no effort in getting “dressed” for the event. Sigh!
Vikkas Manaktala is always a sharp dresser and we couldn’t help but quiz him on his look which stood out from the rest of the crowd. Reveals Vikkas, “The hooded zipper cape and denims were from H&M Amsterdam, the shirt was from Zara, the shoes were from Geox, the accessories and bow tie were from Gentleman’s Community and the star neck chain was a gift from my wife. The belt was from Gucci.”
Without doubt, Vikkas gets a full 10/10 vote from us.
Vishal Singh is yet another actor who amped up the style stakes at this event. He wore a denim jacket from Jack & Jones, shirt and trousers from Zara and shoes by Nike.
9.5/10 Vishal! Let’s see a bit of bright colour next time 🙂
